NEW YORK -- The jury in the case against Daniel Penny continued to deliberate the case on Wednesday.
A note from the jury asked for several pieces of video.
The jury wanted to see police body camera footage, Penny's interrogation video, and a bystander's video.
The Marine veteran is charged with using a fatal chokehold to subdue a New York subway rider whose behavior was alarming other passengers.
The anonymous jury is weighing manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide charges in the death of Jordan Neely, a troubled street performer who was homeless. The veteran, Penny, has pleaded not guilty and maintains that his actions were justified

2 DAYS ALREADY??? BAD NEWS!
My guess is that the jury is not unanimous, which is likely good for the Defendant. They might compromise and lower the charge to get unanimity.
They’re calling this dangerous criminal “a troubled street performer”???
That it wasn’t dismissed already doesn’t seem good to me.
They waited 10 days after the event to arrest him. This should never have gone to trial.
I can’t see how he gets acquitted. Criminally negligent homicide or Second Degree Manslaughter?
I mean, either one gives the jury an out.
He didn’t intend to kill the man, but he died anyway?
I think this looms badly for him.
Are those charges available to the jury?
If it’s murder or nothing, I’m thinking more than one juror is holding out for Not Guilty.
If they convict him of ANY crime, it will be open season on every women in NYC; if they do, going forward no one will ever bother to assist in stopping a crime, as no one will risk the perverted Demonic Party filth coming after them next...
Has anyone seen a racial profile of the jury?
Everyone had been saying Penny should’ve been released and not charged just based on his interrogation video. He waived his Miranda Rights and answered every question thrown at him by the cops/investigators.
Hence if that’s true- the fact they want to see the interrogation video should be in him favor.
According to the article. If it was 1st degree murder I would say they’ll acquit him, but criminal negligence sounds like something that could be reasonably accepted by all sides.
They’re asking to see the police interview. He spoke without an attorney. He clearly thought that he was saving the other passengers from harm. He did not have any intentional malice.
This kind of thing goes on all over this country. You get on public transportation, and some buzzed asshat gets on and provokes you.
If they find him guilty NOBODY, I MEAN NOOOOOOBODY is going to lift a finger to protect anyone publicly.

FOR SURE!!
“ criminal negligence sounds like something that could be reasonably accepted by all sides.”

Wow… I wouldn’t want anyone with your “thinking” on any jury judging me.
Do not go to NYC. Do not ride the subway.
Whatever happened to the Good Samaritan laws?
“fatal chokehold”
It’s pretty weird that lie keeps getting repeated. Neely had a pulse when first responders got there, and police gave him narcan.
Police body cam footage showed two officers confirming that Neely still had a pulse when EMT's arrived at the station:
Shocking footage played at Daniel Penny trial shows officers saying Jordan Neely had a pulse
So when did the guy's pulse actually stop? Was that fact ever established during the trial?
We all know what’s happening: some black juror wants to “stick it” to a white man.
BTW if anything except a full acquittal results, then it’s open season on mostly black NYC subway riders. And that’s OK with me.
