These people aren't worried about revenge or "retribution". They are worried about justice.

Lawyer up!

A new sheriff is in town. Your law breaking will be punished.

My guess is that Obama has been told that, if some people talk, he is at serious risk of criminal charges for seditious conspiracy and conspiracy to violate civil rights. Much of what Garland and the DOJ did that was wrong seems to have been initiated and planned by Obama. The best way to prevent that from happening is to tell potential witnesses to lawyer up and flee the country.

While they are investigating Gaetz, why don't they investigate the claims and disbursements from the secret Congressional fund that pays claims for sexual misconduct?

“Further, anyone dismissing Trump’s threat to bring criminal elements inside the federal bureaucracy to justice are “naive and foolish,” Zaid said. Other retaliatory measures aside from prosecution, Zaid speculated, could include the revocation of security clearances or transfers to undesirable outposts such as Alaska.”

Maybe I’m the naive one. I suspect it will be not nearly as aggressive as I would like but not nearly as bad as Obama-DOJ’s fear.

There is the not trivial problem of convicting a democrat in Washington DC on even unambiguous and damning evidence.

If he was president when he did this, he probably has immunity.

Wheels Up is still in business. Maybe they can all chip in and escape via air.

Find every last one of them and prosecute without mercy. If they flee to countries without extradition cut off all aid to them until they’re delivered up to us in chains on the tarmac.

This is why I think Trump’s campaign is not raising hell over the races that are being stolen right now. When the list of crimes committed by current congresscritters comes out there’s going to be lots of open seats. Heck, Trump might wind up with super majorities in both houses after all the appointments and by-elections.

They really thought they had this in the bag.

Man-oh-man did we dodge a bullet.

I wonder if their cheating operation made them overconfident and they thought, much like the captain of the Titanic, that they were unsinkable?

One career official described hearing audible cries of ‘oh my God’ echoing down the hallway inside DOJ’s headquarters.”

That appears to be the advice Zaid also is giving to Ciaramella, now a fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington.

Further, anyone dismissing Trump’s threat to bring criminal elements inside the federal bureaucracy to justice are “naive and foolish,” Zaid said. Other retaliatory measures aside from prosecution, Zaid speculated, could include the revocation of security clearances or transfers to undesirable outposts such as Alaska.

The fear is so intense that Zaid also recommends that his clients seek mental health and other related services to deal with the stress of a potential prosecution. His team is “making sure we have lawyers, CPAs, psychiatrists and other experts in their fields ready and willing to volunteer their time for free to represent anyone who faces retaliation directly.”

If these criminals flee, put a bounty on them!

I suspect that some current and former unfortunate FedGov employees will meet an early demise. This will happen to protect the truly guilty FedGov and Congressional leadership.

I’m hoping the trials will be for treason and will be tried at Gitmo.
