Better than a Democrat, but not by much.

And then only some of the time.

Collins has survived by being slightly less bad than the pieces of crap the Dems have put up against her.

Thank you for replying. Your position is well taken and the situation is frustrating. I DO think Cornyn could be replaced in Texas but I am dubious about Maine. I think we keep what we have and go pedal to the metal get out the vote and limit Dem cheating in 2026 to keep both houses for a change. I think that is possible with Scott Pressler type of effort nationally. Like detectove Harry Bosch always Saud, GOYAAKOD. By getting off our passes and knocking on doors, we win. Get people to early vote. Keep reminding them. Take them..if they haven’t by voting day, take them then. If it’s busy in lines, take them to Less busy precinct if possible. And reform the election system so all states count it by midnight like Florida. Paper ballots block chain security serial numbers. Chain of custody. no mail in voting. Limited absentee with documented verifiable reasons.
And start jailing cheaters.

I hope you are correct. But I’ll wait until I see a few more Senators with a spine before celebrating.

The only way to make “might refuse” a credible threat is to kick someone to the curb, I’m afraid.

ZULU is no troll.

He is, however, pointing out the folly of Collins’ votes and positions.

THERE IS NO VIRTUE IN GOVERNANCE. GOVERNANCE GOT $36 TRILLION DEBT.

RINOs are permissible. You are right about that. But only in a very narrow situation. 1) They are not staples of the Sunday morning talk shows and 2) They are from a deep blue state that could NEVER vote in a GOP senator otherwise.

Hogan had to be defeated because of 1) He goes away now, probably permanently

Collins is from deep blue Maine. She represents her voters. We cannot hate that. The fault is our own. Freepers did not spend their own money to travel to Maine inner cities and persuade them to be Republican. That’s not her fault. It is ours.

Romney is the foulest of the foul. He has the sycophants of Utah’s GOPe signing onto his self-declared excellent character when the truth is that there is one and only one measurement of character for the filth that are long term politicians. That measurement is they do not backstab their voters. They are not leaders. They are low forms of life and thus not leaders. They are representatives. Romney backstabbed his Red voters and thus is the lowest of characters.

Collins does not do that. She represents her voters of blue Maine.

She’s another example of why the 17th Amendment should be repealed!

True!
The 17th Amendment is still an anti-US Republic amendment and should repealed. Just because it puts us at a tactical disadvantage in Maine is no reason to keep it. There are other states where it would operate in our favor.

I was a few years older than Collins & had no well-padded retirement like hers; in fact none at all except S.S. I was getting too weak to do my job well & trying to work longer would have only made it worse. I do manage to save a little money now though....and the state I live in is no better or worse off without me working in it.
