Donald Trump's former Press Secretary Sean Spicer is on a shortlist to become U.S. Navy secretary, DailyMail.com has learned.
Spicer, 53, who now hosts his own online politics show, was the public face of Trump's first White House for six months in 2017.
But he was also a Navy reservist, rising to the rank of commander.

Actually Sean Spicer is a Naval reserve office with the rank of Commander and has worked for the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon.
Underemployed.
Navy Commander is just below Captain. If you want an asskicking leader get a retired Master Chief. A COB (Chief Of The Boat) off a Navy Submarine or a Marine Gunny.
Then , The 💩 changes and the fear of a guy that stands in for GOD, while GOD is on vacation will take care of it. My opinion comes from personal experience and I approved this message. 🙂
He had to resign because he made an easily twistable comment along the lines of saying that the Syrian government was willing to do what 1940s Germany wasn’t and actually use chemical weapons in battle. The libs implied he was stupid and insensitive and a Nazi-loving wife beating puppy abuser since of course, the Nazis did in fact use chemicals to mass murder people.
They missed the context of the comment and twisted its meaning by omission, but it was a pretty poorly worded comment and he apologized.
As for loyalty he was pretty good.

I was thinking of Bannon also!! He’s pretty toxic though.
Hitler had been subject to gas attacks and ordered Germany not to use the weapons. The U.S. had stockpiles of chemical weapons in Europe, and troops equipped and trained to use them. The U.S. was ready to retaliate if the Nazis did use them.
Bannon could be toxic, but maybe we need some bombastic toxicity now to counter the insane wokeness that has taken over the military. Bring the situation to a normal place.
I don’t see him in a role like that, though. He’d have to lose his current casual style and that wouldn’t be fun. I know I’d hate to have to revert to panty hose and full makeup every day.

Trump feeling guilty over how he literally kicked Spicer off his plane and to the curb last time?
I have seen organizations flounder for years that my old Torpedoman master chief could have fixed in ten minutes.
A great choice.
