Generation X Has Spoken: We Want Our Country Back, Why We Overwhelmingly Supported Trump

Something interesting in many of the "rage" vids that they (the young ones) are making is that don't get why their parents can't "understand" why not to vote for Trump.
The the young ones don't understand why their parents cannot stand Harris...
(They yell and scream, "Why can't they listen", while they are wailing and sniffling.)

Our goddaughter, age 35, voted for Trump this time. She’s a registered democrat, who supports abortion and trans rights. However illegal immigration and open borders caused her to vote for Trump.

This Gen Xer has consistently lost confidence in all so-called experts and many professionals. I’ve come to realize these people are just like me. There’s not anything more special about them, with very few exceptions. I am extremely suspicious and cynical about anyone in positions of leaders at all levels.

Totally with you on this. I've never bought the idea that you're necessarily smarter or "more sophisticated" just because you spent longer in school and have a piece of paper....and I have 2 grad degrees. I went to school with these people. I'm a member of the professional class. I know exactly how unimpressive many of them are.

They just like to play what I call the "credentials game". ie "I have credentials and you don't so you should just take my word for it/defer to me". Another crude way I like to describe it is "an academic dick measuring contest"....ie "let's whip 'em (ie our diplomas) out and measure!" They get especially bent out of shape if you have more credentials than they have.

Credentials can’t give you skills to change a tire, repair a car or live out in the outdoors or common sense.

I wouldn’t take a degree or doctorate too seriously.

100%. Company I work for lost a ton of outstanding employees because the CEO refused to place anyone into management that didn’t have a 4 year degree. Experience, knowledge, certifications be damned. It was 4 year degree or too bad. So stupid.

Nevada holding up vote counting due to Gen Z students who are not being taught cursive writing in school having trouble signing the ballots.... Some 13,000 being rejected to signatures not matching. 😳😵😖
