Kamala's father, Donald Harris, speaking
Youtube ^ | 8/1/2024 | Youtube

A talk by Donald Harris, speaking extemporaneously, albeit from notes, on a complex subject, banks, the IMF, international finance.

He makes substantial points, works out reasoning on the fly, cites sources, and is occasionally humorous. Very academic, but there you go. This is a very smart man.

Kamala didn't inherit these abilities.

Kamala is a telling instance of regression to the mean. Both her parents were intellectually impressive, her father demonstrates this here.

The professor Sachs Harris references often, is Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University.

Sachs was at Harvard at the time, he is at Columbia now.

This is fascinating thank you. If they are estranged, I pray they reconcile. (After she loses the presidency, but her father should be proud.)

And not only is he Donald Harris, but Donald “J” Harris. LoL which strangely echoes Donald J. Trump.

“He’s a very smart man.”

I doubt it. He’s a Marxist. In my book, that qualifies him for a dunce cap.

“He’s a Marxist”

So were Vo Nguyen Giap and Mikhail Kalashnikov and Andrei Sakharov (until late on life) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%C3%B5_Nguy%C3%AAn_Gi%C3%A1p

Dont let your ideological views lead you to underestimate people. People who dont think like you can easily run cognitive rings around you anyway. Humility is a virtue for a reason.

Marxism is largely a religious faith, and it has been so since @1900. In the meantime the commie world (including the third world where the intellectual milieu was soaked in communism) has produced a vast number of talented people.

At some time prior to May 2015, Harris became a naturalized U.S. citizen, and reportedly has a residence in Washington, D.C.

Your “religious faith” is my death cult.

Don’t let Harris’s pretty words uttered in an academic context take your eye off the ball, smart guy.

A “death cult” isn’t a religious faith?

Dont get stuck in stiff-necked defensiveness.
All sorts of things can be simultaneously true.

I just did a quick check. If Mr. Harris is not a Marxist, then he’s heavily influenced by Marxist thought.

Marxism has failed every time, everywhere. And so I must agree with you. Anyone who still pushes that failed (and bloody) trash deserves no respect.

since her father rarely speaks on KH, i found this of interest during her 2019 run https://www.politico.com/story/2019/02/20/kamala-harris-father-pot-1176805

Nor should intellectual laziness blind you to the inevitable, real-world consequences of what Harris advocates.

Harris and his ilk — you included? — only run circles around me at the point of a gun.

Repeating Kamala’s parents are ‘very smart’ or ‘impressive’ doesn’t make it true and facts show it’s false.

Economists are at the bottom IQ of academics (high IQs are found among physicists, mathematicians or engineers). And marxist economists, a supreme oxymoron are unrecoverably dumb as demonstrated by the millions of deaths by marxism.

One more evidence if still needed, no smart parents, let alone ‘very smart’, can birth such a dumb child like Kamala, it’s impossible. Regression to the mean can’t produce such a deviation into dumbness.

“Marxism is largely a religious faith”

What is it that Marxists have “faith” in? Where is there a famous Marxist church and who or what is it named after?
