John Cornyn has joined the DOGE caucus in the Senate. Should we trust him?
Definitely serious big boots to fill. Trump will surely pick someone young and hopefully brilliant and constitutional and conservative.
I am so happy that Trump is at Mar-a-Lago. In his first term, he was vetting people in Trump Tower, New York City. There was so much harassing press all around its elevator. When Trump realized TT was bugged, people met him in Bedminster, which is nice but nothing like Mar-a-Lago. Bedminster is also very cold at this time of the year.
I remember Justice Thomas’s confirmation hearings in the Senate very well. Anita Hill, using a wispy quiet voice, made her probably false accusations against him. People who had been in her classes said that she never talked like that when she was teaching.
IIRC it was Joe Biden who was the worst of the Senate attackers. Since 1991, justice Thomas has served our nation with honor and brilliance. He deserves a peaceful time as he ages.
Justice Thomas retiring Jan. 21, 2025 might be a bit premature.
I think I’ll wait to hear it from him.

BREAKING: The Sheriff of Harford, Maryland, the county where Rachel Morin was murdered by an illegal, just said he will assist President Trump in deporting the high number of illegals in Maryland.
He also called out any Sheriffs who are refusing to help, “This is a violation of your oath of office to protect the citizens that we all serve.” - Sheriff Jeff Gahler.
I hope blue state Democrat officials realize the cops they spent years insulting, degrading, and slandering are on Trump’s side. They will NOT follow any orders to block Tom Homan’s guys.

1) The post-mortems and deep denial of the left following the incredible re-election of Donald Trump is something to behold. For the most part, the rectally-engaged leftoid grease-inhalers are still blaming the Supes that Trump didn’t go to jail. Gee spoogetoids, maybe if you’d actually had a case . . . . So here is the Slate whine that it wasn’t poor Count Dooku (Jack Smith’s) fault. And here, Ol’ Serpent Head, James Carville, trashes Cackles’ staffers. Oh, and by the way, the Cackles team came clean and told the Huff-and-Puffington Post that Cackles internal polls NEVER had her ahead Speaking of polls, my friend Richard Baris’s Big Data poll was the most accurate of all in 2024.
2) Meanwhile, Trump just keeps getting better and better, with his approval now up six points since the election at 54% overall and at a whopping 61% with men, a decent 48% with women.
3) The 11th Circuit agreed with Count Dooku (Jack Smith) and dropped the DC classified docs case. Now only the Atlanta case and the sentencing of the Boast ‘n’ Bragg New York cases remain.
4) For those wringing their hands about Trump’s Surgeon General pick, Trump selected anti-vaxxer Jay Bhattacharya to head the National Institute of Health. He and Bobby Kennedy, Jr. at HHS constitute is a powerful one-two anti-vax, anti-mask, anti-lockdown dynamic duo.
5) In line with that, Trump has promised to rehire all those military personnel fired during the vax mandate period with full back pay.
6) Corrupt former U.S. Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey has asked a judge to toss his conviction.
7) Rutabaga-—remember him?-—hit an all time low in this poll of 36%. Who cares? He shouldn’t even be that high.
8) A United Airlines passenger was restrained after violently attacking his own seat. Well, ever have one that wouldn’t recline??
9) Three million New Yorkers are bilking the health care system for up to $20 billion in fraud.
10) Tech billionaire and industry giant Marc Andreasson met with Rutabaga before the election, and Rutabaga laid out a fully fascist ouline of the future, with government, working through a few big corporations, in charge of everything. Andreasson endorsed Trump.
11) Mark Zuckerberg bent the knee and made his Hajj to Mar-a-Lago.
12) Perhaps now is a good time to review President Trump’s 100 greatest accomplishments in his first term.
13) An Arizona man was arrested for threatening to kill President Trump.
14) A major razor thin late-counted GOP victory in the Mississippi Supreme Court race, as Jenifer Branning flipped the seat held by Justice Jim Kitchens.
15) A fiery Tesla cybertruck crash in Kollyfornia kills three., while four planes collided in two separate crashes just hours apart at Logan Airport in Boston.
16) Interesting take: the feminization of American politics is reflected in the fact that no one can accept losing, especially the mass hysteria on the left.

17) Kollyfornia is trying to figure out how to defy President Trump’s deportation edicts and still eat at the fed trough.
18) Arizona’s illegal-related crime surge is costing the state $20 billion.
