The eye-watering financial cost of the migrant crisis hit $150 billion last year and is causing devastating consequences for residents of hard-hit cities struggling to cope with the influx, The Post has learned.
Of that figure, calculated by Washington DC-based non-profit Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), $67 billion came from the federal government, but majority of the burden was shouldered by states and local governments.
More than 15.5 million migrants are in the US, receiving millions in funds from FEMA.

That has left huge holes in city budgets, meaning cutbacks for regular US citizens, including:
* Denver City Council has to cut $45 million from its budget, including $8.4m from it Police Department and $2.5m from the Fire Department to pay an estimated $90m bill for migrants.
* New York City is spending $2.3 billion in costs for housing migrants alone in 2023 and 2024, resulting in city agencies having to cut costs by 5%.
* In South Portland, Maine, property taxes have increased to pay for the migrant crisis and the mayor has advised elderly residents to re-mortgage their houses to pay them
* Chicago faces a $1 billion budget gap, partly over migrant services, which it is now scrambling to make up.
FAIR estimates there were at least 15.5 million “illegal alien residents” in the country at the beginning of 2022, with federal funding amounting to $3,187 per migrant per year, an increase of 45% since their last survey in 2017.

Arrest the “charity” group leadership. They are facilitating this invasion to defraud the tax payers. They have been doing it for decades.
This 150 billion in money laundering to Democrats insiders and leftist groups
And the ball didn’t even get really rolling til 2024 .
The money spent in 2024 is going to be several times the 2023 numbers
Close to a trillion dollars as been spent on illegals since Biden took offices
How much money sent to Martha’s Vineyard?
FEMA has no business using OUR money on illegals. It's NOT right.
It is much worse than just our tax money spent on them. You must also consider the lost wages when our citizens have to compete with someone who charges less for the same work. The criminals here illegally get government aid and the citizen does not. In some cases because of the government aid the criminal does better while being paid less for the work the citizen was doing before the criminals were allowed to compete for the jobs the citizen was doing.
You’re right on this Jim - plus the extra load of illegals using Hospitals Emergency Rooms for routine medical care in bankrupting small hospitals and clogging up real emergency care for citizens. And then there’s the overloaded school systems... Biden/Harris screwed over the country.
Remember, $5 billion for the wall was considered to be too expensive.
“Forcing some areas to cut police”. Uhh, NO? They did this VOLUNTARILY. No one FORCED them to cut budgets to fund the illegals.
And all these freebies violate the law!!!!!!!!! Title 8 section 1324 says it’s a felony to do anything that encourages to live here. Why don’t repubs insist this law be enforced.?

(iv)in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) resulting in the death of any person, be punished by death or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, fined under title 18, or both.
Soros and son plus all the many Alinsky Dems:
“I love it when a plan comes together.”
This chaos is what they planned all along. Plus stupid people not revolting when they hear millions of illegals will be voting, when that trend happens soon.
How much would it cost us to deport them all?! Not much.
I would like to know where it says that if we give these azhos who invade America free “asylum”, we have to also give them endless money on cell phones, free restaurant food, free hotel rooms, free schooling, free heath care, free everything. If that’s the UN’s idea, those bass turds should pay for it. NOT US.

If you’re a Mayor, you offer no services, you pay out nothing and you demand law and order. They’re illegal, they deserve nothing.
It is insane that cities, counties, and states feel they must use funds to support these wetbacks They are law breakers from the getgo. The only services that should be rendered to them is arrest and trial for whatever felonies and misdemeanors they may commit and general enforcement of the laws vis-a-vis everyone including vagrancy and trespassing ordinances and laws. They are not owed and should not receive out of public funds any housing, food, medical care, cash, or anything else.Let any “charity” be provided by such churches and other private persons and organizations that care about them. And their children are their concern, not that of local governments. Government services rendered them and any money spent on them constitute theft of citizens’ money and assets for the benefit of a barbarian criminal population.
...that themselves receive no government funds and care about them...
