Here's one comment posted after the article:
I've had this happen.A student suddenly and seriously became ill in class, I removed all the others out of the room and brought in the technician to act as a chaperone. I am first aid qualified and have several years training with the local Mountain Rescue team.
After a quick assessment: I rushed the girl to hospital and she was put on oxygen. Not to put too fine a point upon it, I saved her life.
The student was extremely grateful for my actions and I received a 'thank you' card from her.
Some weeks later it emerged the technician had made a complaint that I had touched the girl inappropriately - no details or specific allegations were made, of course, but I was really p!55ed off about her comments.
Britain has plenty of Pakistani trainees willing to step up and handle the job. No need for the natives to allow even the appearance of impropriety...
“Fake. Fake. Fake. Fake. Fake.”
‘To learn that as a woman I am more at risk because people are uncomfortable to provide help due to my gender is shocking.”
Sex. The word is sex. Humans are of one sex or the other. Objects have a gender.
“Susan is of the female sex.” Sex
“She’s a beautiful boat.” Gender.
L
It’s not shocking at all. Women brought this on themselves.
“Fake. Fake. Fake. Fake. Fake.”
Did you comment on the wrong thread? I have done it myself all too frequently.
I am sure that if in order to save a mans life a woman had to tug on his penis, that many men would be dying to.
It is just the way it is.
BTTT
Amen!
But, how do you know the sex of the unconscious person? Could be a dude with boobs.
IIRC a correct chest compression would put the hands nowhere near the breasts, and it is unnecessary to open or remove a shirt to preform compressions.
Sorry that happened to you but I think the fact that you brought the tech in as a chaperone and that the student was truly grateful for you saving her life makes the tech’s complaint a little silly that worked against the tech, not against you. Everyone hates false witness committed against them.
The tech was an idiot!
That’s not the reason some women are not resuscitated.
ooops never mind...I didn’t read enough and realized you weren’t talking about yourself...sorry!
frankly I would not want to put my mouth on a strangers. That’s just me though.
Lol, probably because men overuse this line
You create a workplace where the only safe place for a man to look is the floor or his own computer screen assuming software exists to keep it sterile against any inappropriate words or pictures, where responding to a subordinate female going Karen on you is sexual abuse on your part, and you think that men are going to risk the consequences of phyiscal contact responding to a medical emergency??? What did annyone think was going to happen.
well that’s true.
OMG...what’s happened to us. When I was in high school many, many years ago, it was all I could do to keep the boys from giving me CPR. It was called something different back then though.
“To learn that as a woman I am more at risk because people are uncomfortable to provide help due to my gender is shocking.”
You can blame yourself and your fellow feminazis for constantly accusing men of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior for even just looking at a woman’s boobs.
You reap what you sow.
