Two men have gone head to head in a medieval-style duel with 'machetes' on a busy London High Street.
Distressed onlookers can be heard crying 'don't do it - please!' as the masked opponents participate in an East Ham show-down with their long weapons.
When contacted by MailOnline, the Met Police said no arrests had been as the men were not located - meaning they are still on the loose.
The incident took place on Monday October 14 and police were called to the scene at around 1pm.
Footage of the duel has circulated on social media with many observing it looked as though London had 'returned to medieval times'.
A shocked onlooker on a bus had filmed the armed battle on their mobile phone as the duo both swung huge blades.
One of the weapons was nearly two feet long, the other about one foot.
Thankfully, neither of them landed a blow and the 14-second harrowing video came to an end.
A group of members of the public, some of them children, were seen standing near a NatWest bank as the fight ensued.

Here’s hoping.
I thought all sharp instruments were banned in the UK? There must be some kind of mistake.
All these years Bobbies had no guns and many rode bicycles as well as cars.
2024 One source:
Most bobbies, or police officers, in London do not carry guns:
Firearms policy: In the United Kingdom, most police officers do not carry firearms on a regular basis. Only specially-trained firearms officers, known as authorized firearms officers (AFOs), carry firearms when needed.
Firearms license: Officers who do carry firearms need a special license and are only deployed in limited situations.
Weapons: Most London police officers patrol with batons and pepper spray.
Firearms in Northern Ireland: In Northern Ireland, all police officers carry firearms.
The Metropolitan Police (Met) has more than 34,000 officers, with about 2,500 licensed to carry firearms.
Great Britain is little more than an international banking hub surrounded by slums kept in check by African and middle-eastern imported ‘enforcers’.
And ‘no’ Daily Mail, it isn’t terrifying. It’s not even surprising.
As in Blazing Saddles, the London cop can reach his hand downward and say “Here, let me whip this out.” as he pulls out a statement calling for peace among all people by the late Tich Nhat Hanh.
Before reading several books by him I only had one:
Anger. Turns out it was later reprinted several times, is currently in print, and sells as many copies as Peace Is Every Step.
People are angry.
Dr.Martin Luther King nominated Hanh for the Nobel Peace Prize but he lost.
Just one example among many. They’re blinded by their fake woke morals that all cultures are equal.
All part of the glittering diverse tapestry thing.
Let them try that in a small town in the US south. Where men will take care of taking out the trash.
Great H.G. Wells reference.
We are the dwindling Eloi, soon to be cowering and trying to escape the savagery and daily violent crime from the gang visits to our stores and restaurants. Devolution.
no kidding
there is no way I would try to break up a machete fight
I would get as far away from there as possible
Sorry, but I doubt that.
Any man who tries to "take out the trash" will have the FBI and federal prosecutors come down on him.
Shoot, I’d be rooting for both of them to win.
Let them.
Everybody was kung fu fighting
Those cats were fast as lightning
In fact, it was a little bit frightening
But they fought with expert timing
It has. You import medieval, you get medieval.
“Let’s not bicker and argue over ‘oo killed ‘oo.”
Bystanders reported hearing someone say “I demand satisfaction!” with an African/Middle Eastern accent.
...and taking bets.
We've got Winner, Method of Victory (could be a slash or a stab but don't assume it will be the blade at all), Body Parts Removed, Over/Under, and Fatality.
