If you can't wait until the morning to see the racial demographic breakdown of the day #1 Georgia vote, here's a sneak peek (it includes absentees through this point).

⚪White - 57.52% (189,015) ⚫Black - 30.01% (98,805)

Total ballots cast - 328,611

Whiter than usual for GA on early voting day #1, but there's plenty of time for that to change—seventeen more EV days to go

Yes but In previous elections after the first day Black vote is usually in the upper 30’s then slowly falls off

Even the linked X account (anti-Trump) who works for decision desk , said he expected mid to upper 30’s

Early voting in Georgia doesn’t matter. What decides the race are the Fulton County votes cast on Wednesday, November 6.

How do they know the race of the voters?

They don’t.

The whole charade is a fiction. But then, that is redundant.

“White - 57.52% (189,015) Black - 30.01% (98,805)”

How do they know that? In GA, is race something that’s on voter registrations?

These are just very early voting numbers, the 1st day.

However, looking at the attached spreadsheet, round numbers:

Mail-in ballots: 13,000
Early (in person): 306,000

Be interesting to see mail-in vs in-person voting as things progress. Mail-in is much more difficult in GA vs 2020.

You have check in before voting with your ID.

They scan the barcode on your state ID which is tied into the state ID database (driver license database for most folks) and also the voter registration database. A form pops out of a printer with your picture from your ID, and your personal information. The voter then signs the form. There is a paper trail of who voted and the info includes your race and sex.

If they know who voted (by virtue of the fact that you identify yourself when you go to vote) then how *wouldn’t* they know this?

This is why those on our side who have crowed “vote on election day only!” have given the Democrats a huge advantage in the past couple of elections - the Democrats have a much easier time identifying who has not voted and who to get to the polls through election day and can direct their resources at fewer people. Zero chance Republicans are able to do the same thing if the bulk of our voters are only showing up on election day - allowing the Democrats to do something for weeks that the Republicans have to try to cram into a small fraction of a single day. “There shouldn’t be voting this early” is a pointless argument - if it does in fact exist, we have to do utilize it until and unless that is changed. Otherwise, we are voluntarily handing the Democrats yet another huge advantage.

Sex is more important than race these days.

Black/White/Hispanic men: do I want to be a low T Walz lover? No!

Black, unmarried urban females plus unmarried white suburban females=Democrat.

“I can’t afford groceries, my wages haven’t kept pace, I have to live with 3 roommates to afford rent, Russia and Ukraine are at war, Israel is beset by enemies, China salivates over Taiwan, South Korea might soon be at war, Lahaina burns while North Carolina drowns, but can I have abortions?”

Who does? The state?

Is race and sex listed on the ballots for absentee voters?

I am not trying to be difficult, but I cannot imagine the state recording personal details about a voter when they cast a vote.

I don’t think voter registration forms ask for race or sex. I think they do ask for date of birth, address, some form of government ID such as driver’s license, party affiliation, and whether you wish to receive voter information in a certain language (for some blue states). They get the sex of the voter if they use the voter registration information and use it to look up driver’s license information. I guess the race information comes from looking at the driver’s license photo and guessing the race from that.
