GOP consultant files lawsuit alleging identity fraudulently used to make ActBlue donations to Dems

Mark Block has been consulting for Republicans for years. So when he discovered an old email account he used for the 2012 Herman Cain presidential campaign was receiving receipts for donations to Democrat candidates like Kamala Harris, he became alarmed.

The discovery led Block -- a stalwart Republican -- and his lawyers on a journey that escalated Monday evening when he filed a groundbreaking lawsuit in the Wisconsin state courts under civil racketeering laws, alleging he is a victim of identity theft in a conspiracy to abuse the massive ActBlue fundraising platform.

That platform is designed to benefit Democrats with small donations under $200 that evade Federal Election Commission reporting requirements, the suit stated.

Block’s litigation — which called the misuse of his Personally Identifiable Information (PII) “smurfing” — mirrors allegations that the House Administration Committee uncovered during a recent computer analysis that identified tens of thousands of suspicious donations placed through the ActBlue platform that appear to come from people who do not have the means to give large amounts of money.

My first inclination is to say "Good! About time!"

But given the fact that the fraudulent campaign donations through ActBlue have been known for several years now (when did O'Keefe first reveal the fraud?), I'm a bit skeptical. I look for some type of "sue and settle" plot where no evidence is revealed, no one is held accountable or punished, and the issue is swept under the rug with only a few minor adjustments to the donating process. Controlled opposition.

I've watched this play before and the ending never changes.

I agree. This is insanity. They know about this, but can’t do anything about it?

Yep, they are actually Acorn and just changed their name. As we know they helped Obama get elected. They have been laundering for a long time.

This ALWAYS happens in countries that are dominated by corrupt pygmy cannibals. They are 12% of the US population but 30% of the deep state (federal government employees).

"...An ActBlue representative did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment. The fundraising platform has steadfastly denied wrongdoing, but said it is cooperating with the multiple investigations..."

Rep. Bryan Steil (R) was on the John Solomon podcast last week (I think) and explicitly said ActBlue was NOT cooperating. I have heard Steil he is about as RINO/Deep State as they come, but I don't know much about him and cannot confirm that.

ActBlue is ActingLikeTheyAreProtected.

It appears from all that’s been going on for years the Democrat Party would be a prime candidate for a huge RICO investigation, prosecutions, etc. Once the institutions we depend on become corrupt and supportive of the corruptions that insure their continuing malfeasance, radical surgery is required. Hope real Americans are paying attention to what’s being revealed about people and institutions we thought we could trust.

O'Keefe started his career by exposing ACORN. ActBlue is just the newest iteration.
A RICO case would be interesting, especially if you can find people who determined to bust Democrats. One thing to keep in mind--those prosecuting would probably be approached ala Kari Lake (powerful people back East would like you to sit out this election) to make the case go away. Make sure any interaction is recorded.

ActBlue would be perfect for a RICO action.

I remember when O’Keefe exposed Acorn. You are right. Acorn just reorganized as ActBlue.
