A recent New York Times poll has revealed that black voters are shifting away from the Democratic Party more than expected. While Vice President Kamala Harris is still projected to win a majority of black votes, her support is notably lower than the level Joe Biden achieved in 2020.
The poll found that eight in 10 black voters nationwide plan to vote for Harris, an increase from the 74 percent who initially backed Biden before he dropped out of the race. However, in the 2020 election, Biden secured 90 percent of the black vote, marking Harris' 80 percent as a significant drop, especially given the Democratic Party’s reliance on black voters and the tightness of the upcoming election in swing states.
Though Harris is expected to receive overwhelming support from black voters, GOP nominee Donald Trump is gaining more traction with this demographic than previously anticipated. His campaign has targeted black voters, particularly black men. According to the poll, 15 percent of black voters now say they will vote for Trump, a six-point increase from 2020.

Yep. I’m seeing the same type videos. A couple had very salty language but they did make their point. One young black man spoke of how hard it was to find a job since illegal aliens were taking over all the construction trades and manufacturing jobs.

If Trump has gained with blacks, Hispanics, and males, how the heck is he not leading in every poll?
Female voters.
The cultural and international makeup of the “black” population in the US has changed. Much of the African immigrants wish not to be identified as rainbow intersected, or as welfare dependent, or in need of preferences. Many of them reject being labeled black. What to do with India peoples? Some are very white but labeled black and they resent it.
Springfield Ohio. I live nearby. Some recent arrivals are a problem but the professional class that arrived there 5 years ago or so are conservative. Those people no what tyranny is. They came here educated (better than most natives and in real disciplines) and deeply religious. Not a natural Democratic vote.
White professional female voters mostly teachers and social workers of various other government or non-profits.
Democrats start with 47%. Just about every government worker or union member plus the welfare dependent (including corporate welfare).
I know, disgraceful. I think its going to have a rubberband effect; some men on the fence and going to say eff it and vote Trump.
