Good for her.
Map of Europe in 1939. Notice any changes.
Map of Europe now. More changes. I could put up a map from 1990 and let you see how many changes just since then.
I’m reading Captain Cook’s journals for the second time. What he writes about the native people he encountered on his arrival on the East Coast is fascinating. A more miserable people he says he has never seen in all his travels. Stark naked, pathetic bark and shrub shelters, long sticks as spears and living on the edge of starvation. They had no use, nor did they understand the gifts of tools and fabrics he left them. A nomad, stone edge people whose only tool was fire.
The only good thing one can say about their lifestyle is that unlike the Maori, they were not cannibals.
I;d say Cooks description of the East Coast natives was accurate. A listless bunch, they have changed little today bit a few are outstanding human beings.
But Cook did nt know h0w t0 handle aboriginals. This resulted in his death in Hawaii..,,,,,, with his heart being eaten by four powerful Hawaiian Chiefs.
I doubt if there is a single full-blood aboriginal in Australia, the majority which claim aboriginality are the descendants of Malaysians who fished in the far North and lots and lots of Irish, some Afghans who worked on the telegraph line, and it was the practice of drovers and shepherds to have an aboriginal woman as a wife/helper. The children of these encounters lived in dreadful conditions, the missionaries picked them up and clothed, fed and educated them. They like to call these offspring ‘the stolen generation’ and now name them ‘The First Nation People’...
Cook instructed his crew that they must not hurt those they came across. They were to be treated with kindness.
What was the result? Interesting...one tribe tried to burn his men by setting fire to the long dry grass around them.
Our so called history is fairy-tales.
The majority of Pacific Islanders Cook encountered were cannibals. He saw the limbs and butchered torsos of the victims hanging up ready to roast. At least the Australian aboriginals stuck to their mainly seafood, kangaroo and reptile diet...
Interesting that “Cook” as a surname indicated his fate.
If his name had been Goldman, he would have found Montezuma’s secret treasure.
Imagine back then a deli in Hawaii? LOL.

Its the same in Canada. Our history has been sterilized by the liberal woke movement.
I was educated in grade school by teachers who believed in the British Empire.
We sang this song below to open every weekly assembly of the entire school on Wednesday mornings:
The French of Canada have made sure to destroy all history they can involving the defeat of France on the Plains of Abraham by Scottish regiments under General Wolfe. All of the officers of the regiments were Freemasons, which French Roman Catholics even today detest.. None of it now is even mentioned in school history books. They bury that Canada was British by right of conquest, and the feds want to make sure no one knows our true history. This has aided in the growth of focialism im Canada.
The Maple Leaf Forever ( we sang it every week in grade , elementary school)
The Maple Leaf Forever Lyrics
[Verse 1]
In days of yore, from Britain’s shore
Wolfe, the dauntless hero, came
And planted firm Britannia’s flag
On Canada’s fair domain
Here may it wave, our boast, our pride
And, joined in love together
The thistle, shamrock, rose entwine
The Maple Leaf forever!
[Chorus]
The Maple Leaf, our emblem dear
The Maple Leaf forever!
God save our Queen and Heaven bless
The Maple Leaf forever!
[Verse 2]
Our fair Dominion now extends
From Cape Race to Nootka Sound;
May peace forever be our lot
And plenteous store abound:
And may those ties of love be ours
Which discord cannot sever
And flourish green o’er freedom’s home
The Maple Leaf forever!
[Verse 3]
On merry England’s far famed land
May kind heaven sweetly smile
God bless old Scotland evermore
And Ireland’s Em’rald Isle!
And swell the song both loud and long
Till rocks and forest quiver!
God save our Queen and Heaven bless
The Maple Leaf forever!
[Chorus]
The Maple Leaf, our emblem dear
The Maple Leaf forever!
God save our Queen and Heaven bless
The Maple Leaf forever!
