If bad welds were made intentionally that is sabotage. Lock them up for a long long time. If convicted it is good for ten years in prison.

Forced labor Jews and non Jews did this in Hitlers war factories. They were brave and honorable men. If discovered, after torture for information they were shot.

German plant managers who failed to meet targets were shot. Milch, Speer and numerous German industrialists who starved or worked millions of non-German laborers to death got off easy. Milch getting his skull fractured from a beating was probably the worst punishment he received. The life term he was handed ended up being commuted by the postwar West German government in 1954.

The odd thing is the way Milch got off easier than the handsome and urbane Albert Speer, who was maybe half to one step up but also a key player in butchering non-Germans. Germany set out to kill the world and resettle it with Germans. Given the way it released early or commuted the death penalties of so many German architects of large-scale atrocities against non-Germans in their custody, it’s more than a little annoying that we have American apologists making excuses for Germany’s ruthlesssness. Both sides attempted to kill civilians under the other side’s control. Only one side, Germany, continued butchering civilians after they had been brought under its control.
