Government planning planning for you.
The weakest point in a system is usually the best place to attack.
Perhaps the navy should even consider submarine tankers.
Why did it run aground?
But you have trans admirals and tons of DEI. What more do they need?
Piloting and navigation are becoming lost arts in the New Navy.
In other words, if you can get to the tanker, you’ve crippled the strike group, and perhaps even made them sitting ducks.
“I’ve got those yellow stain blues....”
Depending on DEI people to run the ship?
My friend and neighbor is a retired rear admiral. He tells me about things. The Navy is a wreck.
The Hootie and BlowUpYourShips gang loves this news. US Fleet crippled !
Biden drooling 🤤
Kamala Cackles ! 🤪
Speaker Johnson snuggles up to Democrats ! 🥰
Ukrainian dwarf invades Pennsylvania !🤡
What Is Taylor Swift up to?😍🤮
If you click through to the gcaptain source link, there’s a picture of the ship with big Ukraine flag-colored stripes painted on its smokestack. Are these colors just a coincidence or is this intentional and authorized? I’d post a picture to show what I mean but that’s too high-tech.
I learned that the Navy’s VLS vertical launch system cannot be reloaded at sea, they can only be reloaded at port.
So if and when a destroyer fires all of her VLS missiles, it must return to a port to rearm. The VLS cannot be reloaded at sea.
They have just about ruined our Navy. Oh, LORD, please allow Trump to be elected!
But did their internet go down?

Better chase the sign guy
Will the Navy finally uh, get on board and demand wind and solar powered vessels? It could bump up their ‘esg’ score. /S
I posted a thread the week before last about that atrocious incident where a Chief Petty Officer had an Starlink system illegally installed, then when it was investigated, lied OPENLY to her Captain multiple times about it.
I just went back and read that thread for the first time (not my usual practice if I start a thread) but a lot went down in the world since then, and when I remembered I had posted that thread and re-examined it, there were people who posted sarcastic responses in it, and I had to concede part of that was my responsibility.
It is undoubtedly, in this case, DEI or more accurately in military terms, DIE which is going to be the root cause.
Resources are indeed a factor, as is piss poor planning. And yes, ships have been running aground as long as there have been ships on the sea. The author of the X post “gCaptain” is being moderate in the initial response by acknowledging that point)
But we are going to undoubtedly find out (though we will have to “read between the lines” to get to the heart of it) that the grounding is going to come down to a lack or inadequacy of training. Every single second spent on DIE training, testing, and indoctrination (and there is a lot of it) is a second taken away from warfighting, damage control, or in this case...ship handling.
Which is a worse statement on military readiness?
A missile blowing up (Satan) or a critical support ship becoming disabled (ran aground) due to utter institutional incompetence?
Just sayin’…
