Many thanks for your prayers and good wishes. Water receded this morning, and cleanup begins. Isolated the smoking electrical wires at the breaker. Now have a/c. Ordered haul away containers. Flood insurance website overloaded until an hour ago. Claim filed. Cars appear to work, water got into tailpipe, brakes are wet.

All in all, could have been much worse. Lifelong resident neighbors say this is a first in over 50 years.
