SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk is threatening to sue the Federal Aviation Administration for "regulatory overreach" after the agency said earlier this week it plans to fine the company $630,000 for allegedly bypassing regulations on two of its launches in 2023.
SpaceX on Thursday sent a letter to Congress to challenge the fine, and Musk attacked the FAA through his X account, reports The Post Millennial on Friday.
He accused the FAA's leaders of spending resources to attack his company "while neglecting real safety issues at Boeing" and said that puts lives at risk.

The FAA needs to be suing the SS for NOT flying a drone over Butler, Pa.
Elon is guilty of
supporting Trump
Sounds like sour grapes to me, especially since they have more important issues to resolve.
musk should probably suspend the boeing astronaut rescue until such lawsuit is settled ...
I am sure he wants them to think that, he ain’t no dummy like kamalala.
Musk is also guilty of creating and operating a safer, more technically advanced, more efficient, more economical and more truthful Space Agency than NASA ASSES.
XLNT, damn straight !!
I have no real opinion about Musk yet because I have never met him, but we know that Nasa is a four letter agency.
I have issues with some three letter agencies, so I would expect one with an extra letter to be worse.
To be honest having a beer with Elon is on my bucket list but it is becoming more unlikely most of designs would help Boeing and Blue Origin a lot more.
It is absolutely Lawfare by the US Government. No doubt at all.
Do you remember Obama made NASA into a Musloom outreach !!!
You are correct, Hussein did that.
I never thought I'd meet Bing Crosby, but I did.
Couldn’t musk refuse to bring the astronauts back from the space station. And why isn’t Boeing being charged with Fraud for using taxpayer dollars to build their worthless space contraption.
Theoretically, in a free country Musk could refuse.
However, Musk would have to find that free country, and have the Theory tested by repeatable, objective, scientific experiment.
Simply add 630,000 to the cost of the next military satellite launch.
Yep. Tell NASA to go screw themselves.
