Lawyers representing the former Harrods employees who claim they were raped and sexually assaulted by late billionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed have described him as 'a monster' as they laid bare today his 'vast web of abuse'.
It comes as multiple women came forward to claim the late Egyptian businessman sexually abused them in the Knightsbridge store and at his luxury properties in the UK and on foreign trips abroad.
So horrific was the alleged abuse suffered at the hands of Al-Fayed, lawyers representing his victims have compared him to sexual predators Jimmy Savile and Jeffrey Epstein.
Five women have said they were raped by the Harrods tycoon, who died last year aged 94, and a further 20 female employees allege he sexually assaulted them.
But lawyers today warned the true extent of Al-Fayed's alleged offending could go further, 'with victims all over the world' - with investigations now taking place into other businesses owned by Al-Fayed, such as Fulham Football Club.

The UK Establishment never liked him especially as he blamed them for his son Dodi and Princess Diana's death.
Diddy says BK is open late
I have become jaded to grown women coming forth many many years later with allegations like this that cannot be proven or the person, if alive, is supposed to prove he did not do it.
I just don’t believe them anymore.
If nobody came out and filed complaints about it at the time these things allegedly occurred, and suddenly gets a conscience 20 years later, I hold them in contempt. If the allegations were ever true, they allowed a serial abuser to continue abusing innocent people. The man is dead and can’t defend himself, so I look at these overdue allegations as worthless. Time to move on.
Yeah, he ain’t no p Diddy.
Somebody's looking for a belated payday based on bullshite like E. Jeanne Carroll and the rest of the bimbos who never made complaints at the time, even though Trump was a billionaire, but only waited to come forward when he ran for President as a Republican.
The usual suspect, Gloria Allred is involved.
I understand
Just as with Bill Cosby.

Looks like the Walmart mob riots a few years later.....
Its not just Trump, but the whole Me Too movement, where claiming a man sexual assaulted them is being used as a sport to attack some celebrities 50 years later.
Mny here cheered when Bill cosby was run through the ringer but I saw it then, that if they got away with it, it would become the new norm.
Now men are supposed to prove they did not do it, which is NOT how the law works. But these people don’t use the law, they use the courts and social media to destroy the men, as they dribble out a woman a week claiming they too were assaulted, all with ZERO evidence.
I hate rapists and men who abuse women, but I simply don’t believe that dozens of grown women ALL decided not to say anything for years and years till it became politically or monitarily expedient...
This woman has abused the justice system like no other. She has perfected the slow drip of ane woman after another days apart to make it seem like the guy must be guilty.
Thinking people will wonder how did they all suddenly wake up and decide to do this at the same time. And others wonder why none of them bothered to report it when it happened 25 years ago...
I'm a 77 year old woman, and I totally agree with you. If it wasn't a big enough deal to report it when it happened, how did it now become a big deal 20-25 years later? Nobody who waits that long to report they were raped should be treated as credible. New York specifically changed the law just so E. Jeanne Carroll's claim of being raped by Trump could be pursued.
I'd reverse that PR spin - the fact that the lawyers representing the victims are comparing Al-Fayed to Savile and Epstein means that they WANT the public to think that their clients' suffered horrific abuse.
Man: "Will you sleep with me for $1 million?"
Woman: "Yes"
Man: "How about $1,000?"
Woman: "What kind of woman do you think I am?"
Man: "We've already established that: now we're just haggling over the price."
Many of these women knew exactly what they were getting into and had ample opportunity to quit or go somewhere else, but the money and career opportunity were too great so they put up with it. Same with Weinstein in many cases, if not all of them.
They knew their sexual attractiveness was advancing their careers and also probably know their ability alone would not have justified their advancement to the positions they achieved.
Were the guys sleazebags? Sure. But so were the women.
Ex post facto used to be illegal. I don’t know how this is/was legal.
