I’m just a naturalized Texan, since 7/8/76, when I reported for duty at Fort Bliss.

Two of my greatest gifts to my 3 children: I made sure they were born in Texas; and I taught them how to swim at a very young age (prior to age 4).

I’m in Colorado now, but I love Texas, grew up there and still own the family ranch with bro and sis in Mills and Brown County. I’m a descendant (obviously) of the “Old Three Hundred” allowed in by Spain. I have a copy of the Spanish land deed to my GGGG grandfather giving him a “league of land”. It’s signed by Stephen F. Austin and his brother. There were no counties then so we have no idea where that piece was. Current ranch been in the family since 1905. Hold the line, brother, and make them “Come And Take It”!
