How many centuries were the Catholic church, the Jesuits, and conquistadors over here... with the priests and missionaries knee deep in the enslavement and breeding with the native population, working to extract the riches from the western hemisphere in the hopes they would forget their heritage?

He actually defined the secular church..........saying What I encountered, “was a lively, dynamic Church inclined to harmonize diversity, and at the same time has the largest Muslim presence in the world.”

I agree with the Pope on this but not for the reasons he states. The deviant “Western Civilization” has entered the Church and is forcing the Classical understanding of Western Civilization (Christendom) out. We would be wise to listen to the African Catholic Church which is so much more Orthodox than what we have now especially in America.
The Church loses its moral credibility when its leaders hobnob with the elites and when it ceases being counter cultural when the culture embraces neo pagan, hedonistic decadence. Christ did not condone sin.
