Some local animals (geese, etc) may/probably are used for food, but,
local cats, dogs, other domestics are used for voodoo.
So calling out “pets used for food’ is a red herring.
A “Pets used for VooDoo claim would have been too “far out”.
In the cop body cam video, the cop came across the dead cat, observed that the woman had, shall we say, “dined” on it, and pressed the woman, saying, did you eat the cat.
That’s enough to justify Trump bringing the issue up in the debate. There being enough of a basis in truth, the meme-o-sphere then enthusiastically picked up the ball and ran with it.
