John Tester has been a bit of a counter intuitive for the state of Montana in the last decade or so. Since the 1990s Montana has been a relatively conservative political state, with the GOP controlling the state house and senate for all but 3 sessions since 1995. There was a brief window in 2005 to 2011 where Democrats manages a 50/50 division in the state senate, (with 2007 term technically being a 50 R, 49 D 1 I) and also had control of the state house through those terms as well. However, since that time, The GOP has pulled away in both houses. Dominating both the Senate and House in generally ever growing margins so that today the Republican’s of Montana have a super majority in the State House and Senate.
Tester’s rise to the US Senate came near the beginning of the 6 year window when Democrats held majorities, in 2006 he was elected to the Senate in a heavily contested race which he won by just over 3500 votes statewide. Since then he has faced re-election twice winning by 4 points in 2012 in a 3 way race where a libertarian 3rd party candidate named Dan Cox played spoiler of the Republicans grabbing 6% of the voter and in 2018 he pulled off a 3.5 point win as well.

Although I totally get it that the Libertarians have a complete right to run their favored candidates in elections, I wonder how often some of them consider that running those same candidates often costs a solid GOP candidate from winning?
I see that Qunipiac just droped a ludicrous Poll with Harris up 5 in PA. They do that to game Real Clear Polotics and 538. I have Trump up about 2 points in PA
Plus the Poll was started a week ago!
Read an interesting article months ago in the EPOCH Times....talked about Libertarians in Colorado ran their own candidates because they were sick and tired of the GOP putting RINO’s on the ticket in that state. They would not vote for liberals but at the same time refused to vote for spineless RINO’s, hence they ran their own candidates.
The article went on to say if the GOP put Constitutional conservatives on the ticket, Libertarians would be more prone to vote for them and forgo running their own candidate.
Quinnipiac poll is a joke, haven’t looked at the internals yet, but guarantee its ludicrous.. Harris did not swing any state 8 points its nonsense on its face.. just like the 2016 polls showing Hillary up 10 in GA... just nonsense.
Qunnipiac is also one of the polls that had Biden up double digits on election day in 2020...
They are a joke.
Obviously fraud was at play.
Team players would meet with the Montana Losertarians and come to an agreement about a candidate who could remove Testes.
Instead, we get the thinking of Chris Sununu, who won't bother to pick up an easy Senate seat in New Hampshire.

That is exactly what this article, which was about 6 months ago, stated was happening in Colorado. The GOP was meeting with the Libertarians to come up with a candidate that made everyone happy.
No clue about the outcome.
I wouldn’t go there, MT 3500 votes is a few points.. at the time of Testors initial election Democrats were in the majority in both houses, and in control... Since then Montana has moved right hard.... now the state GOP has super majorities in both houses of Montana now.
Trump is running ahead of where he was in 2016 and 2020, and he is the best Political closer I have ever seen. The decision not to pick Shapiro is going to go down as a huge mistake.
Sheehy is definitely an Alpha male and strong conservative Trump supporter. Send him $$$ if you can! He is our best shot at getting an R majority in the Senate.
It’s a nothing school in New Haven, CT which has been putting out useless polls for many years.
I don’t believe for one minute that Shapiro was passed over...
He told them no... not for one single second do I believe that Shapiro wasn’t asked, he just politely told them no, like every other top tier Democrat.

How do you know she didn't pick him? I'm hearing that more than one pick turned her down because she's a bitch to work for and they thought she couldn't win.

Yea, I don’t see any way that any of Kamala’s astroturfing will survive...
She cast the deciding vote that brought us Bindenflation her trying to say she’ll cut prices is comical
I knew that she was in trouble, when the undecideds focus groups came out, and said she didn’t move them. That was her one chance to convince them on policy, and she blew it. Trump’s ads have been outstanding this year.
Yep, she didn’t win that debate, she lost it horribly, and the fact that the pundits just couldn’t see it just speaks volumes.
She offered NO REASON whatsoever for anyone who was not convinced on Trump to choose her instead... they were begging for another debate within minutes of it ending, because their own focus groups and spot polls told them the same thing.
