He can then give the case of Jamal Trulove as an example, and even quote Trulove’s statement about Harris's demeanor when he was wrongly convicted (later overturned) “I'll never forget, when I turned around and I looked, and I seen Kamala Harris — we locked eyes this one time, and she laughed — she literally just kinda busted out laughing,”
Trump has to be patient. He shouldn’t jump in for the quick kill, but let her talk, draw her out. That should give him bountiful opportunities for savage retorts.
“I haven’t read a word of the article and don’t plan to, but...
Dear Donald,
Please ignore this and just be yourself.
It’s called winning and you know full well how to do it.
Signed, Bullish.”
No. He already has his base. This might be the only time he can expose who CommieLa really is to everyone else. Bragging about his crowds etc. or being repetitive is not going to get it done.
Illegal immigration topic for larger percentage of black vote. The most evidence against Harris. That topic includes the economy. Benefits going to non citizens. Housing. Education overcrowded schools. Crime. Culture….Inner cities are very angry.
I’m not sure the debate will be long enough for all of this!
I think the best advantage for Trump is that he doesn’t have a squeaky whiney voice like Ben Shapiro
Or that nasally voice that Kamala has.
"...it's unhelpful, even if it's true."
Fixed it for you, Ben.
I feel the same way. I dont watch preseason NFL games for the same reason.
Trump should put her in a double bind, a no win situation.
Your staff says you changed your positions from the radical left. You stated on the Dana Bash interview that you haven’t changed.
Who is lying?
You are trying the Nancy Pelosi strategy, instead of “pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it” your slogan is “vote for me so you can find out who I am.” We don’t need any blind dates or arranged marriages.
Abortion is the Democrats’ only issue. Everything else is pretense.
My two cents:
She’s going to be dripping with snarkiness and condescension especially on these topics:
Abortion - she’s going to claim Trump recently softened his position by lauding reproductive rights to appeal to a greater number of voters - so how can he claim she is pandering when she has changed her position on fracking.
Gun control- she’s going to come out “smoking” by bringing up the last school shooting and blaming it on Trump being soft on guns and his advocacy for the NRA.
His earnestness and humility can win the debate by being the man he was in his convention speech- so grateful to God and even more convinced that he was saved on July 13th to fight for the American people as their president again to restore all the possibilities of our potential as a nation.
Frame of mind as to who your target audience is is important. If he can concentrate on imagining he is speaking to independents and no one else, especially not avid supporters at a rally or rabid haters, it might help him stay on the policy track and avoid the personal insults and grievance track which will not help him with independents. After all, registered independents who now outnumber registrants of either major party are the key to the election
“If Trump shows up...”
Strange wording. Why would he write that?
“When prompted to talk about how the election was stolen and January 6 and the victims of January 6 and all that kind of stuff, it’s unhelpful, even if he believes it.”
Strange wording: if he believes it. Why would he write that?
Shapiro has trouble tamping down his inner assery.
You’re wrong - it’s not an act - she IS a stupid pumpkin.
I think she’ll survive the debate though - because only a tiny fraction of voters will watch it live and form their own opinions - the rest will have their “opinions” spoon fed to them.
They will accept the reality show version in which women heroes are always stronger, faster and taller than men, and blacks are always wiser than and morally superior to whites.
All Trump has to to is be Trump...even if they give her all the questions, in order, and have her staff try to prep her...
I wouldn’t be too sure of her preparation - many of her ex-staff said she was not only a mean. egotistical bitch, but she was also too lazy to do the pre[ work...
But she is on her knees...
Shapiro has great points here, but he “buries the lede” in a sea of words. Trump could pick out the essence of Shapiro’s points, and be well-armed to destroy Harris.
Shapiro’s list of “don’t” are spot on.
Imagine a “debate” between Shapiro and Harris.
Aside from the fraud, Trump knows it’s the women that’ll make the choice this November. It’ll be about empathy more than the technical necessities.
“if he is asked about his comments regarding Kamala Harris’s race, which will certainly come up.”
What he should say is: “But of course, you’re black. Everyone knows you’re black. That is clearly true.”
NO! I disagree here. Many Blacks do not believe she is authentic Black. That’s good for Trump. Why should he dissuade them for thinking that?
He can come up with a good answer for that question.
