Why do I never anymore think that a ruling has anything to do with justice. Now I’m always wondering what advantage the Democratics have found for some action.
Looks like he is getting worried that the Democrats are not going to win.
So I am guessing they don’t want riots until AFTER the election...
He didn’t want to rule they need a new case, so he delayed that until after the election so Trump can still be considered guilty of a felony.

Perhaps he’s beginning to imagine the IRS, FBI and DOJ breathing down him and his family’s neck for the next four years, turning over every rug they can to find something on his corrupt rear.
Supreme Court can’t rule on this until sentencing is done.
But, reality is starting to creep in. The convictions did not have an effect on his popularity, and is the leading candidate to become the next president. Putting Trump in jail now is a very complicated issue, not the least is the security dilemma.
I think it really came down to the belief that an imprisoned Trump would gain even more in the polls, as the persecution of him gets even worse.
And if Trump wins, there's no chance they will put a president-elect in jail during the transition, or anytime thereafter.
