Not necessarily a good sign. Merchan delayed sentencing until September. Not long after the delay, there was assassination attempt on Trump. Merchan had no real reason to delay sentencing back in June but may have been told by someone in a very high position in either the Federal government or the Deep State to hold off..

It's not a federal court. POTUS can pardon only federal convictions. A federal appeals court might be able to overturn a state conviction if it conflicts with the US Constitution.

The Dems want a civil war but they want it on their handlers’ preferred timing. As “a dish served cold.” They control the military, the police, the courts, the media and the other handles of power in the country now. They are rabidly lustful for holding that power over us.
