I am not a Walz fan, but he’s not lying about being in Afghanistan. He went as a congressman. If he’s saying he was there in a military capacity, then he is lying.
He fits right in with the lying, cheating, scum, demonicrats. They all lie.
He is always seething with anger. President Trump is a happy warrior. Ronald Reagan was a happy warrior. Even Minnesotan Hubert Humphrey was a happy warrior. But Walz is a mental case with anger management problems.

Nothing in the video indicates that he said he was there as a member of the military.
Walz repeatedly, purposefully, and artfully references Iraq and Afghanistan or carrying arm in the context of violence, PTSD, and such like here … all with the conscious intent to leave listeners with the clear inference that he has sand in his boots and was tested under fire.

He says “when I was in Afghanistan”. I was in Connecticut this summer. I say when I was away or when I was at my sisters or when I was at the beach. Or when I was visiting Connecticut Maybe I can say when I was in Connecticut but I didn’t
When a military person says ‘when I was in Afghanistan, or Iraq, the sandbox, the desert, Viet Nam, Nam, Saudi, downrange, deployed, they took part in combat or they’re stealing valor.
And you know it.
When a congressperson or a celeb says ‘when I was visiting troops in Afghanistan that’s what he means. If there’s any question it is because the guy talking is bullshitting
It has been determined that this guy is putting down all service members by lying about having served in combat, making it out to be less honorable to have not served in combat. It is not.
