NORTH CAROLINA RECOVERY SITES:
1. Henderson County - First Baptist, Hendersonville – recovery site open 9/29/24
2. Buncombe County - Biltmore, Arden – mass feeding/recovery site open 9/27/24
3. Mitchell County - FBC Spruce Pine – recovery site open 9/28/24
4. McDowell County – Grace Community, Spruce Pine – mass feeding/recovery site open 9/29/24
5. Watauga County – FBC Boone – mass feeding; Perkinsville Baptist – recovery site open 9/28/24
6. Haywood County – Crestview Baptist/FBC Clyde – will open recovery site when allowed into the county
7. Transylvania County – FBC Brevard/Calvary – will open recovery site in the next few days
8. Rutherford County – Adaville Baptist, Spindale – will open recovery site in the next day or two (Mostly Chainsaw with some mud out) – TBM (Texas) Site
Overview of NC feeding sites:
1. Buncombe County – Kitchen #2 and #3 – capacity 50,000 (5,000 meals prepared 9/29/24)
Salvation Army supported
2. Watauga County – Kitchen #4 – capacity 7,500 with extra ovens and tilts – also supporting Ashe County – (3,000 meals prepared on 9/29/24)
Red Cross Supported
3. McDowell County – Manna One – capacity 30,000 (set up on 9/29/24 and begin meals on 9/30/24) no meal count as of yet.

The next few days will be very fluid and things will change. There’s difficulty with getting resources like needed food at big kitchens, transportation issues, etc. Please be aware of that and don’t promise anything.
