I believe he started shortly after one. He probably didn’t stay too long because he was to attend the Steelers football game and then later have another Townhall /speaking engagement all in Pennsylvania.

In Philadelphia, it is illegal to ask about an applicant's criminal background on the application or during the job interview.
So it would have been clear sailing for hiring him.
