Hurricane Helene update and comparison to Hurricane Katrina due to much false reporting:
The DOD Response to Hurricane Katrina, despite the dishonest and total bullshit from the media, was immediate. The DOD responded to Katrina the day after landfall with the largest, fastest civil support response in U.S. history. Over 300 helicopters, ~75k Guardsman, the USS Comfort Ship etc. The SECDEF at the time, Rumsfeld (who I am not a fan of) said the morning after Katrina, “send everything and we’ll catch up with paperwork later”.
Our USG non-response by the WH, DHS, DOD, State resources, to Hurricane Helene is a national disgrace of historic preportion!
The American people are tough and resolved to overcome this pathetic state of leadership we currently have.
We will win in the end.
