Spunky & Norsky - you’re in an area that was no doubt affected by Mt St Helen’s eruption. I flew to Oregon to be with my brother and his son & daughter in Portland in February 2009. One side trip we got to outskirts of Mt st Helen’s but couldn’t get nearby as snows were covering mountain roads. Stopped at outpost visitor station and I got several pairs of earrings (now gone) and a video on the event. That survived in a box with a few other things at a friends. I completely forgot he had several boxes of things that I left there for a short time which turned into over a decade.
I watched the first half a few nights ago and will finish hopefully tonight. I simply did not realize the scope and suddenness of eruption and the lateral blow out father than upward. Before and after pix of both area and mountain remarkable
I figured it was either a lib or a sneaky conservative fattening up prime meat for themselves.

Just had a wonderful conversation with the new President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. She has agreed to stop Migration through Mexico, and into the United States, effectively closing our Southern Border. We also talked about what can be done to stop the massive drug inflow into the United States, and also, U.S. consumption of these drugs. It was a very productive conversation!

Ya, it was a mess, heard it blow at my house, very deep and loud boom, then a ton of dust, quite a site to go up and see the blast zone.
Education is good. But do those who have a weakness /addiction to getting high read or hear these communiques? Or care? Or feel “1I’ll be different”?

She kinda looks like my Norski sister. The Governor was warning to stay away from the volcano for 2 weeks before explosion. Pretty crazy to fly above it then, but scientists certrainly take risks.
