I am somewhat better today, just wrung out from it.
Hubby is doing AMAZINGLY well!

On the 4rth day after his surgery. he went grocery shopping!
He only needed something for pain, on the day after
his surgery, and has not touched them since.

We were told that this surgeon was the best one
in Maine, and they weren’t kidding!
I never expected him to do THIS well, so soon!

His recovery from the first one was brutal.
I’m so amazed and pleased for him, you know?

I’m with Jem, in that I like our little thread the way it is. The only thing I would suggest is that we don’t bother making it monthly or even put a timeline on it. Can we just have it open and continue without having new threads? I suspect once Jan. 20th comes around, we’re going to enjoy the unfolding of President Trump 2.0 immensely!

Well I'll just report that this past week, while watching all the news and videos of the snow here in Pa., aside from a very light dusting one morning we got nothing but rain here.

It was more than weird watching all the snow reports, so I waited and waited for something to hit that never did... It was suppose to be the first winters snow!.....

I’m not sure how long I’ll have a connection. It’s been in and out most of today.

So I’ll go first.

I had to think about what I expect or like or would want from this group of friends.

And the last three words in that last sentence is where it’s at.

I like probably most of you, get my new elsewhere. I go to the x to Truth Social Telegram and other sites. We don’t have cable or dish to get any of the great TV shows.

I do appreciate when people share news because sometimes I miss things. But I always would prefer in addition to the news a comment.

I love the memes Norsky and cotton. You both come through a lot with some cute stuff

if this group decides to disband I’ll probably go to either Q or Canteen The problem with canteen is they are primarily a znight group and I’m not anymore .

But we are a aren’t we? So many of us have physical issues - so many of us are ill -all part of the aging territory.

So many have family situations that are difficult. Some of us are just sort of anti-climactic after the Terrible four years we’ve had

the excitement and the frustrations that we’ve seen Donald Trump go through. He’s the reason we’re here

that’s the thing we all have in common. We’re different ages, socio-economic, backgrounds, different spiritual walks but that one common thread is that we are basically lovers of America and president Trump.

Ive not been able to touch base with Cotton for a few days

she has very very busy life also, and if she tries to get me chances are that she can’t because of AT&T and living in the boonies

I think I’m interested and keeping in touch with all of you. LEs Cotton and I spoke. I think we’re both willing to plug on maybe just a thread every three months as Judy suggested maybe once a year we just need to base to be able to chat.

How about we start a new thread on January 1, 2025.
The Trump Train Family-2025, and just let her rip from there!
We could all gather on New Years Eve, and then the inauguration on Jan 20th?!!
