It means then that they will get it hard if she is elected (or cheated into) to the Presidency.

This is true of “independents” and some Republicans. The once derided “dinosaur media” is alive, well, and powerful.

If people would have demanded Joe Biden’s removal from office due to his mental incapacity, Kamala would have had to very visualy own their regime’s policies and she would have been forced into the position of not being able to hide.

That is why they left Joe in office and relegated him to the beach as though he never existed.

Republicans should have at least made a public issue of it.

None are so blind as the willfully ignorant. They will not look at or even consider what is so plainly before their faces.

“Orange man bad”. End of discussion. No explanation for their clear prejudices, or reasons to accept that which “Que mala” Harris/”Gov’ner” Tim Walz are offering, which is Bidenomics on steroids. That and literally billions in “dark money” that is propelling the candidacy of this uncommon pair.

Seems “joy” actually is an effective political strategy with their voters.

Idk how "well" it is. If it was truly objective I would agree but it is clearly showing it's bias.

Alternative media is the new kid on the block and growing more powerful by the day it seems. Exponentially, whereas local newspapers, once a staple of everyday life are a fast dying husk.

For those who are permanently joyless, Joy is an appealing concept.

Don’t sell the steak, sell the sizzle.

I know it’s not feasible, but I wish voters had to take a “current events” test to prove they know what their candidate supports. To me, if you’re uninformed, you should not have say who run the gov’t.

“It means then that they will get it hard if she is elected (or cheated into) to the Presidency.”

Probably not in the first two years. It takes a while for the impact of legislation to be felt, particularly when it impacts an economy as large as the USA. Unless of course she takes an extremely aggressive move such as suspending the Constitution, arresting dozens of members of Congress, declaring martial law, and sending the military door to door to seize firearms.

They will feel it when the stock market loses 75% of its value and their retirement savings evaporates. They will feel it when the state seizes IRA and 401K assets and uses them to fund Social Security for the good of all. Remember the word is “equity” not equality. They will also feel it when hyperinflation causes them to wish for the days of Biden’s high inflation.

When the grandchildren and great grandchildren of the liberal activists of the 1960’s are drafted and sent to Ukraine, the Middle East, Africa, Korea and Taiwan to serve as cannon fodder they may begin to wake up. At that point it will be too late.

Actually, a vast majority of *all* American voters are clueless about politics in this country.

That’s why Trump needs to focus on issues and going outside his base. And why the Democrats would rather see him doing nicknames and personal attacks.

I think instead of cluelessness we’re dealing with cognitive dissonance and a bit of self-delusion. Suppose you hold views that if only communism was done right, we’d be living in paradise. But you and everyone else know that communism doesn’t work. YOU know it doesn’t work because it has never been done right. With irrational optimism you know this time we’ll get it right. Basically, because this time YOU are involved. Now someone asks you, “Do you understand that Vice President Giggles is proposing communism?” Knowing the rest of the world knows communism doesn’t work you don’t want to be accused of being an idiot. Besides, YOU know the secret, that this time we’ll get it right. Therefore, you lie to mislead other voters into voting for communism. Lying Democrats are making themselves part of communist conversion process. They understand in their DNA the need for keeping the reality under cover to fool the religious soccer moms and clueless worker drones into voting the RIGHT way. It’s necessary because those worker drones and soccer moms have never spent a day of their life on a college campus.
