Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii who has since become an Independent, endorsed former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race. Renowned for her vocal opinions and military service, Gabbard made the news on Monday at the National Guard convention in Detroit. Her support came as a sharp indictment of the existing government, especially of Trump's opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris.

The United States awarded Gabbard the Meritorious Service Medal and the Combat Medical Badge. In addition, she was given a gold German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency.
After 17 years of service, Gabbard departed the Hawaii Army National Guard in 2020 to take a new assignment with an Army Reserve unit stationed in California. While serving as a Civil Affairs officer in support of a Special Operations deployment in the Horn of Africa, Gabbard received a promotion to Lieutenant Colonel on July 4, 2021.

Yes, but I would still like to hear her give time and consideration to the vets who are destitute, homeless, drug addicted, and all but forgotten by the government that sent them into harms way for reasons other than defending the Constitution of the United States they have sworn to defend.
She talks of her ‘brothers and sisters in uniform’ but ignores the roughly 20 suicides/day on average by veterans.
Also, she should recant her statement of yesteryear that “Donald Trump is Russia’s bitch” statement. It’s a curious thing why so many overlook that provocative statement.

It’s too late. Vance is the pick. Trump looks desperate, patronizing, and erratic if he dumps the ticket now. Dems can get away with moves like this because they own the media. Reps cannot.
Trump picked Vance. The signs are made, the donations are sent. It’s done.

It would damage the Trump campaign irreparably by demonstrating indecision. On top of that, Trump would NEVER do such a thing.
Tulsi is great and will certainly play a major role in the Trump administration. Be satisfied with that.
As an aside, the VEEP position has very little power and responsibility. Tulsi will be much more valuable elsewhere.
The Combat Medical Badge is a big deal.
Vance is a solid VP. Tulsi is awesome, but too left.

The Combat Medical Badge is an award of the United States Army which was first created in January 1945. Any member of the Army Medical Department, at the rank of colonel or below, who is assigned or attached to a ground combat arms unit of brigade or smaller size which provides medical support during any period in which the unit was engaged in ground combat is eligible for the CMB. Before the 2024 convention Trump was of course the presumptive GOP nominee. And he could pick whomever he wanted as his running mate. And an hour later he could change his mind.
But the convention is over. The delegates have voted for Trump and Vance. I don’t think any changes can be made after that point, absent a death or voluntary withdrawal.
