Why is everyone using the word - Misinformation? Call it what is - a lie!

Not accurate.

Quite literally, the term 'misinformation' would mean information that is NOT in congruence with 'acceptable' information.

The issue is that the idea of 'misinformation' is being conflated with meaning 'lie', when it's quite different. The acceptable 'information' might be a lie, by protecting it from the truth - which is labeled 'misinformation'.

Truth and Lie have distinct inherent value meanings - 'misinformation' represents terms that have secondary assigned value meanings - "misinformation" might be true or a lie. It only has assigned value by the person proclaiming it.
