Walz’s statement is misinformation. There is absolutely a guarantee of free speech.
Ace NYP reporter Miranda Devine nailed it——”Democrat Convention-goers wore camo hats and between the “USA! USA!” chants, Harris’ bald-faced exhortations to God and country, and Walz’s schmaltzy shtick, posing as a home-grown “Midwestern conservative,” you could be forgiven for thinking you were at a Trump rally.”
@PeterSchiff
The First Amendment was specifically written to protect that very speech Walz want to ban. He has no understanding of the Bill of Rights and on that basis alone is unqualified to be the Vice President of the United States.
It is my understanding that free speech refers to the right to redress the government without persecution..
It does not give us the right to say anything, any time, to anyone.
For instance, there are slander and libel laws. Lie to the FBI and you go to jail.
Use the slang word for a negro, see what happens.
Walz’s statement is misinformation. There is absolutely a guarantee of free speech.

Only good until Harris Walzs in.
ONLY if you are willing to stand up and FORCE the issue..
"Those who profess to favor freedom, yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will." Frederick Douglass.
