Commerce sec doesn’t ‘believe’ news of grim job revisions because Trump said it: ‘I’m not familiar with that’

Social media users trashed President Biden’s Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo for admitting to ABC News on Wednesday that she wasn’t “familiar” with the day’s major revision to the jobs numbers.

ABC News correspondent Kayna Whitworth asked Raimondo what she thought of the jobs numbers revision by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

“I am curious as to your thoughts on today the Bureau of Labor saying that more than 800,000 fewer jobs were actually created than initially reported,” Whitworth said.

The reporter played a clip of former President Donald Trump talking about the report at his rally in North Carolina on Wednesday. “The administration padded the numbers with an extra — listen to this one — 818,000 jobs that don’t exist. So they said they existed and they never did exist. They built ‘em up so they could say what a wonderful job they’re doing,” Trump said.

You have got to kidding me with this statement???

The swamp of the District of Columbia has perfected the art of lying with a straight face that it's almost second nature with them. Also, there are millions of hands there, each not knowing what the other hands are doing.

Exemplar of the axiom, "Lies, damn lies, and statistics." Also, "you can prove just about anything with statistics."

Wake up, Dufus! The Biden administration has made it a policy to release a “rosy” picture for all economic data (inflation, growth, employment, etc.). Some time later, they issue a “correction” to that data, assuming you won’t pay attention. The problem is, real “corrections” should be normally distributed so that “good” corrections are about the same as “bad” corrections. I’ve been waiting for over three years for a “good” correction and none has happened. Tell me the Biden Administration isn’t “cooking the books”.

Last night Fox showed clips of that interview several times. Revealed how that woman is either unbelievably STUPID—or evil!

Hacks!

It’s not that they don’t have polices, they just don’t want anyone to know what they are. As you know, hiding your policies is critical for any functioning democracy.

A cabinet secretary so overcome with TDS that she can’t address basic facts. This regime has to go.

Or uninformed...in which case, she is grossly incompetent.

Doesn’t BLS inform the other cabinets with such bad news before going public with it? Doesn’t BLS think it would be a good idea to talk to the other departments before releasing such bad news. The Commerce secretary was blindsided by it in a tv interview.

That is GROSS incompetence. But that’s what we expect under Biden.

Most of the Biden’s cabinet had no experience doing anything remotely related to their positions. Dems dole those jobs out like ambassador gigs, i.e: no experience necessary, only unquestioned loyalty to the party, and a willingness to use the position to raise money via influence peddling.

It was the Obama or Clinton administration that started this lie and adjust reporting. Rush used to have fun with it.

To be fair, the Bureau of Labor Statistics is part of the Department of Labor, not the Department of Commerce. Although it is reasonable to expect the Secretary of Commerce to be familiar with it anyway.

When I heard that played this morning, the way I took it was that she isn’t familiar with the Bureau of Labor, not the statistics.

“It is from the Bureau of Labor,” Whitworth responded.

“I’m not familiar with that,” Raimondo said

To support the idea of "cooking the books", why did the gov't remove distillate fuel costs and food prices from the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The gov't said they did it because those numbers distorted the index.

Really?

In other words, the CPI was too high so you sucked out the data causing you to look bad and made it easier to lie about what was really happening to prices.

Disgusting!

I seriously wonder if the great damage the DEMONRAT party has done to our country is the result of the actions of it’s “incompetent”—or EVIL— members.

Probably a combination of both, don’t you think?

The people at the top are very evil (except Trump). Obama and Holder were especially evil.

The government has grown to such gargantuan sizes that it is impossible to manage and is necessarily filled with incompetent people. But those unthinking incompetents are doing the bidding of their evil masters.
