If you had insomina last night, watching Joe Biden's televised appearance at the Democratic National Convention would have been the place to kill it off.
It was boring as hell, devoid of content, Joe Biden mechanically repeating the same crap he's been repeating for the past three years and as a professional bore, telling all, in a pathetic bid to claim that his presidency was somehow a success.
The economy is up. Crime is down. The border surge never happened but is now fixed. The budget is under control. Inflation is conquered. His family is wholesome.
He did his King Lear-like shouting, and repeated these whoppers about President Trump, all of them severely debunked, but like an old guy on the porch, just likes repeating them:

It was a dreary alternative reality, a bid to gaslight viewers into thinking Biden really was the successful president and now he was just "passing the torch" instead of getting kicked to the curb by his own party. As the audience shouted, 'We love Joe' nobody threw in "four more years," like they do at these things. The only reason they "love" Joe is that he's not running for re-election, and it must have not been lost on Biden.
I watched it, hoping to see signs of the internecine warfare that has plagued Democrats. It had it, but it was subtle.
Biden was relegated to the first night of the convention and offered a prime time slot for speaking, which was the first insult.

People may come to miss Biden’s speeches once Kamala becomes POTUS.

Well into the sunset of his life instead of living happily with plenty of money (regardless of how he accumulated it) with children, grandchildren a home on the beach and having been POTUS (again regardless of how it happened) he exists as a bitter hate-filled and stubborn old man.
Shows me my Bible is right once again. Money, power and earthly possessions are not what makes for true happiness.
Life has a way of catching up to people, and joe biden is a great example.

I disagree with the thesis. I felt that he signaled Trump will be sentenced to jail next month and that there will be election related violence.
There is no way the crowd was that loud. Everytime they showed the crowd with a roaring cheer going on they all were standing or playing on their phones. Kinda like nfl during covid. Small crowd but thunderous applause. Yeah piped in for sure. Nobody cared.
Honestly folks I’m at the point that I am seeking the truth from journalists and there seems to be none around. They are all liars they are all party DNC hacks and on our side we’ve got the RNC hacks . I want the truth I am seeking the truth social media doesn’t give it to you forget the media puke outlets… Nothing but DNCWHORES. This might be accomplished by another of the propaganda media’s slant-the-news strategies. Have the only microphone on the feed for a republican be the one being used by the speaker. At Trump rallies, especially, the audience is quite far from that microphone. For Democrats, on the other hand, place microphones all over the place picking up the sound.
All he did was shout and bellow, much like an old man who yells at the kids to "get off his grass"
Of course he repeated the "same ol' same ol' " about Trump, making sure he shouted his lungs out so we can all understand him...

The article is too kind. Brandon lied multiple times as the serial liar he is. Debunked? Yes! But the whoppers he retold, he has been cautioned by his staff to ‘knock it off’, so who wrote the supposedly approved speech?
