Back in high school there were only Americans working in construction, fast food, restaurants, etc. It was the mainstay of American high school students. Some stayed and made it careers. Nowadays, no jobs for Americans as illegals are filling them at minimum wage and less.

I have a 16 year old son that was searching for summer work. Nothing. Filled by illegals looking for "permanent" work.

That will hurt more and more generations. Look at the crazy kids without any understanding of work ethics, practices, finances, etc. because they have never had the opportunity to work.

That's why they have parents. To show them how to prepare. It's not their employer's job to instill that in them.
