I remember it all too well. That was the big blizzard in Buffalo, NY, that made international news. Cows in the mid-west were freezing to death out on the range. Every fake news anchor was smugly certain that a new ice age was coming. Now they’re smugly certain that global warming is coming, and I hope they’re right. But they’re real good at being smugly certain about things that never come true.

From new ice age they switched to hole in ozone layer. From there to global warming. Now it’s “climate change,” hedging their bets.

In the 70s they screamed about a coming ice age.

When that didn’t work, “acid rain” would destroy us and all the trees. Like the very next day.

When that didn’t work, “global warming” would cook and skin cancer us up to death if we weren’t underwater from melting polar ices.

When they were caught altering data, now anything that happens is the cause of the catch-all “climate change”.

During the Cretaceous period of Earth's geological record, we had no ice at either pole, and the planet was covered with jungle from one pole to the other. The earth did not burn up. Life flourished.

If there is no polar ice we will be fine. We will be hotter and likely steamier.
