Exactly. I keep wondering how many 'holes' were left in the security at other Trump events - just waiting until someone took advantage of one of them.

Your example about the fruit store hits a key point. There doesn't need to be a fancy, formal (and ultimately, discoverable) conspiracy. Just set up the circumstances and be 'sloppy' about covering obvious threat axes. Eventually, someone with - possibly - no more political interest than notoriety will give it a try.
