I love & am voting for Trump, but this is what happens when you aren’t defining your opponent, aren’t campaigning furiously & are raising funds, buying up media & broadcasting your campaign message. Every morning I get up & go straight to 538 for polls- I’m determined not to get caught flat-footed this time! Keeping a watch on things. Then I check Free Republic for news. Lastly I get on X to see the commentary- for & against (so I can get a sense of things.
No campaign or campaigner is perfect, but honestly I think he needs to do a more proactive job. I also think MAGA needs to be doing a lot more. Democrats are involved in everything. I have to give them props- they aren’t lazy during campaign season. We need to make donations too! 😉
This has to be something that Trump does daily! Pound it home! & we need to get off these stupid topics about her race/ethnicity & doctored campaign photos ffs! How much more of an impact do you use think it’s going to have for an occasional voter- finding out ses more Indian than black or the fact thatwe don’t have a secure southern border due to her administration?
The biggest benefit we could do for ourselves & Trump & the conservative movement would be to have the courage & backbone to let our own candidates know that they aren’t doing a good enough job, they aren’t campaigning nearly enough & they aren’t raising the necessary funds/donations to compete & control messaging. The one thing I find no matter what I say as a conservative voting for Trump in regars to the campaign: most of MAGA will attack & treat you as disloyal if you call out our side or recommend better approaches. Every single MAGA Senate candidate for Senator & Governor is pretty massively behind in polls (Senate candidate in Arizona, another candidate in North Carolina. This is across the board. People wanted the movement & I agree with the issues & I’ll vote for the candidates, but their campaigning capabilities are fairly non-existant. Some of the candidates have run & lost 2 & 4 years ago. The problem is once you’ve lost a race, to the public, you develop a stink & people find it tough to support people they see as losers. People will say that vote fraud or sabotage is the reason for the loss, but that isn’t completely the reason for the loss or even the majority of the reason. We need to be more open to self-reflection with each other, self-criticism & brutal honesty. If you don’t do those things- you will run a weak campaign. I saw Nicki Haleys interview (I think Fox). Look it up because everything she said was absolutely correct. She said “Listen, I’m voting for Trump. We need him to win. This is a crucial election. We need to be out there defining her- NOW!!” She’s absolutely correct!!
Looks like “Independent” smarts are OVERRATED. They aren’t as bright as they would have us believe. That’s why I’ve always said, Independents are just embarrassed DemonRATS.

Against the odds GHW Bush (thanks to Lee Atwater, RIP) did a great ad campaign against Willie Horton, a murderer who was let go by the Michael Dukakis soft on crime ACLU style policies.

Bottom line, I could write better TV ads for Trump, that concerns me. On FOX this morning they had the 5 second snip of Kamala supporting less cops - that could be a convincing ad to target suburban women with some actual news clips of suburban women getting assaulted - clean easy 30 second ad, but there aren’t any.
CRIME/BORDER, ECONOMY/INFATION - should be easy.
