I have listened to about half of the Trump/Musk audio. Musk says at some point, there could be so much CO2 in the air that it becomes hard to breathe. But I haven’t heard Musk say what he would do about China’s air pollution. Maybe that is in the second half.

I’ve heard his position on global worming before. He says it may be fake, but it’s best to take steps to mitigate it, in case there’s something to it.

In the chat with Trump he said in the future there is a possible level at which it is difficult to breathe.

The good news is that he says that the amount of CO2 today is nowhere near the "critical" %. But if he believes the critical % may become real, and the amount of CO2 from China remains more than double what the US produces, he should say what would happen in that case. Would we fight a shooting war over emissions?

For my part, I say let the CO2 roll! But a shooting war with China over Taiwan is a distinct possibility, more probable that CO2 reaching critical mass.

The funny thing about people who consider going ape over CO2 is that CO2 emissions can come from sources which also emit toxic industrial gases and particles, some of which, in sufficient concentrations, CAN make breathing difficult. I used to live near the Houston Ship Channel decades ago, where at 3AM such a condition occurred from time to time. If one is hasty, it is possible to blame that on CO2. There is a logical fallacy in which an event has multiple possible causes and an idiot blames one of them.

Musk does not seem to be going ape, but I think his desciption of that remote possibility can be misleading.

Absolutely agree - Trump and Musk would do well having multiple meet ups like this.

It was fascinating to listen - Musk is NOT a Republican, made that clear, but he said for the good of the country Trump needs to be elected.

Trump and Musk both have created thousands of jobs. No Dem candidate can ever match that.
