Despite billions in wealth, you have to wonder how long the powers to be around the world will allow Musk to continue to operate like he is, giving the middle finger to politicians in many different countries.

An unfortunate fall out of a high building, a really fast-moving piece of lead enters his brain, or some other accident takes Musk out

Yes it’s a good point and most unusual situation.

Just enjoy it while you can..

He’s interviewing Trump later I believe.

Musk has better protection than money. SpaceX is turning into the principal strategic asset in the hands of the US. The US government recognizes that, and they have been trying to help along potential competitors, so they are not so dependent on him. To no result so far.

So Musks greatest friend at this point is the DOD. Musk himself is the heart and soul of SpaceX and he can’t be replaced by some random manager. He is that proverbial goose.
