A sarcastic comment! Yikes! Up until reading this post, I thought that Vance wrote something about that in his book. The propaganda media is so evil. They have made it seem like that is one of his most basic beliefs.

Yep. I've done the same. Found stray feral kittens a couple days old, abandoned. Took care of them, feeding daily with an eye dropper. Also massaged the butt to make them poop. A cat lady criticized me for that, saying I was ruining the butt. I gave her a kitten when it grew to 2 months old. The next year she was complaining that the cat was scratching her. But when I held the year-old cat, it was gentle to me and remembered me, wanting to leave with me. Score 1 for cat men, versus cat ladies.

He should apologize ONLY for leaving out “gulping their boxed wine.”
Which comment they have even misquoted as well as framed it as an admission of guilt, which it was not.
I remember the MeToo movement which shut down quickly after it became obvious that almost all of the perpetrators were on the left.
