And go after companies that illegally hire illegals! HARD. After a few are harshly made an example, the rest will figure it out & stop hiring them.

Pass a law that says you don’t have to pay a contractor that hires a known illegal alien. Pass a law that the contractor has to show you papers on every workers immigration status on request.
I think people here illegally should not be working and should be deported. But what is the plan for who is going to pick the crops, clean the offices and hotel rooms, work in fast food and restaurants, etc? Obviously rents and prices will go up, but do we have enough people who will even do those jobs?
