So much for Putin's red lines. He looks weak before the whole world.

My suspicion is that this is NATO’s plan to grab some RU territory to use as leverage in soon to be upcoming entreaties for a ceasefire — land for land exchange to get RU to give up some of its gains.

Meanwhile UKR’s central front lines are collapsing.

Interesting that RU doesn’t seem to have an immediate response brigade ready to deploy anywhere in the world in 12 hours like the US has. Even if they cannot support a global range, one would expect RU would have a substantial IRF standing-by for any where in RU.

Certainly a bold move by NATO, but to what end? IMO it will lead to more destruction of UKR.

P.S. Just discovered that John McCain (e.g., our century’s Benedict Arnold) pushed for Climate Change treaties as a way to weaken RU. (Because RU has so much carbon-based resources). More evidence he was happy to sacrifice Americans for his hatred of RU.

“So much for Putin’s red lines. He looks weak before the whole world.”

As Trump said, he can end the war in 24 hours. I believe Ukraine went into Russia to take land that can be exchanged for Russia returning the land it took from Ukraine.

It is a brilliant strategy and I believe Trump had a hand in this.

Weak? He looks like a foolish leader who has no generals capable of fighting a war.

To allow the defenseless Kurst flank to be turned so easily is command failure at the highest level.

75,000 UKR troops. All the stuff about shortages of manpower & equipment was a deliberate ruse - to that end so was allowing the Russians to take more ground in the Donbas.

Video:
Russian mercenary Wagner reinforcements:
You can see in this video that under the first truck, the tarmac stained red. The other trucks still contain the bodies of the previously terrifying troops once known as Wagners.

HIMARed to Heaven: 100 dead and 120 hospitalized.

Ukraine bid its time, kept is plans secret, feigned weakness, then struck. In three days Ukraine has taken more territory inside Russia's borders, than Russia has advanced for the last eighteen months.

To the Putin fan club, this is all propaganda. Ukraine is about to fall, nukes will fly, Zelensky-something-something-spam-the-thread-with-pics etc, as they've been saying for the last two years. The fact that Russia was taken by completely by surprise, has not started any real response, once again showing how bad their leadership is in creating this opportunity for Ukraine, is lost on them.

I guess some people never tire of and just enjoy being wrong.

ZEEPER POWER!
It’s wonderful. They are taking it village by village and now hitting downtown Kursk Russia, we hear. AFU is screwing up Kremlin big time. They even captured a small village in the neighboring Belgorod region, and analysts say their forces control most of the Kursk town of Sudzha, about six miles from the border.
Pope Francis needs to call for peace and for Russia to surrender in place.

If I were a Russian soldier in the Donbas, I think I would be a little worried about a two-front war coming my way soon. Might consider surrendering now. If I were some poor Uzbek conscripted to kill women and children for Putin, I might calculate I will get treated better by surrendering to Ukraine than by failing Putin back at home.
