“They don’t call the SSN numbers in other countries. So I would tag this one as bogus.”
Read the article. “includes”.
Some had SS numbers that were revealed. Others without SS numbers had other personal data revealed.
“ There are not 2.9 billion Americans.”
Only on Election Day
Oh you are one of those noticers, huh
Jerico Pictures? So is that a front for a huge data bank? And this happened back in April so it took this long for all those alerts to start showing up? Man, we’re never going to be unscrewed with this stuff.
That's only about 10% of the US population.
The real answer is closer to 1 billion combinations.
The correct number is one billion possible social security numbers.
This page explains why:

Sharing IS caring right?
Thanks for the correction!
I just used the first thing that popped up on my search which I should know better. I went back to look at it - it was some on-line course from India!
“We will use the concept of the relation between permutation and combination.” Well - the complicated math they used sure looked good! (I may have asked the wrong question though??)
Oops - I think the answer is for nine digits, but only using each digit in the number once - no repeated numbers, so 999-99-999 would not be allowed. Although I doubt that number would be allowed as a SS security number either!
Someone really needs to do this to every Federal employee and all main stream lying media.
The irony is that India is one of the countries that would need more than nine digits.
:-)
As if they care.
This happens all the time but they are not true data breaches. Mexico pays companies and organizations to release this info so illegals can steal IDs and collect welfare and send money back to mexico.
