I can't figure why they are waiting until after the election. Biden is already DOA and issuing the pardons now would take this issue off the table.

I guess you can look at it two ways. Your way, and the other way which is that it won’t be a few days of bad press it will another centerpiece for Trump to say “look, you see, I knew there was corruption - if he did nothing wrong there was no need to pardon him. I was impeached just for asking a question on a phone call! You can’t elect a continuation of this corrupt administration”.
There is a lot there not just with Hunter and family, but with a bunch of these BLM groups and the EPA grant money going to backdoor lobbyists and all kinds of funny business. Cori Bush lost her primary in part because she took $100,000s for “security” that was provided by her husband. These issues taken alone may not resonate but it’s wide in the open and should be challenged.
