The White House is lost to the Dems and they know it.
This election is about motivating the base so they don’t lose done ballot.
Shapiro is a way better choice if you are trying to win the White House… PA is a must win state. Without it D’s can’t win and Shapiro would make PA competitive and probably help the D win if on the ticket. MN is the safest D state in the rust belt.
He’s won’t help win the middle or any other state.
The Dems are playing down ballot because there know the White House is lost, period.
